Grandpa Joe – First Lady Jill Biden Bosses “The President” Around During National Children’s Hospital Visit

Once again the citizens of the United States Of America viewed their feeble president, this time with his wife directing him, throughout a visit to a hospital for children.

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden on Friday made a Christmas Eve visit to the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where the first couple met with and read a story to hospitalized children and their families.

Jill followed in the tradition of other first ladies visiting the hospital for the holidays, but Friday was unique as it was the first time the sitting president also took part in the holiday tradition, according to the White House.

To ensure the success of the event, Jill pointed, guided, and spoke for Joe during the visit. At times Jill grabbed his arm, pulling him over to his appropriate spot, similar to what we have seen through Joe’s eleven months in office. In addition, Jill would also turn to the onlookers, coaching them for a reaction like a circus conductor would do after the performers would complete an action.

The Bidens arrived at the hospital just after 11 a.m. EST and visited with children in the hospital atrium who were making lanterns as a winter crafts project.

“You’re bringing us some joy,” the president told the kids in the room.

The first couple then sat in front of a Christmas tree in the room to read “Olaf’s Night Before Christmas” to a group of children.

The first lady read the book aloud, which was streamed to the rooms of pediatric patients in the hospital who were not in the atrium.

According to the White House, the tradition of first ladies visiting with children and parents at the children’s hospital dates back to the Truman administration.

I for one am glad Jill attends events like this with Joe, for the audience and children’s sake. Why, Joe has a bad habit of smelling, touching, and inappropriately speaking to children and I am not sure he is always aware he is doing it.
